Clearing the Air– What You Really Need to Know About Content Services in the Cloud

A Free On-Demand Webinar

After all the hype about moving content to the Cloud over the past few years, there are still many misconceptions about when and how to deploy content services in the cloud. For example, there are many organizations still resistant to what they consider to be security vulnerabilities or performance risks, especially in the Financial Services sector. Consider too that there have been great strides forward in cloud technology, such as containerization, that make deployments much faster, and a host of new low-code applications that deliver on the promise of serving Line of Business leaders who aspire to true business agility, unencumbered by their overworked IT counterparts.

Like any emerging technology, content services in the cloud simply needed a little time to mature, and now that some major organizations have pioneered cloud-based content and worked out the bugs and proven the business case, it is an excellent time to revisit the topic. In this session we’ll look at the impact of Docker containers, a new generation of user-friendly cloud-based portals, and the emerging use cases around external content sharing, taking the usually risk-averse records and document management community outside the firewall – but with the security, availability, and access controls that they require to meet their compliance obligations.

In this webinar, we’ll discuss:

  • What’s actually involved in setting up and deploying a cloud-based content management system
  • How to stay compliant and assure both High Availability and Disaster Recovery
  • How and when to mix public and private cloud deployments
  • How to protect content even as you share it with partners and customers

This webinar is approved for 1.0 hour of CIP Maintenance Credits.
