AIIM and NAGARA Announce Strategic Partnership to Advance Information and Records Management Profession
New Alliance Provides Enhanced Member Benefits and Cross-Professional Collaboration Opportunities
Silver Spring, Maryland and Washington, DC, USA – July 18, 2025 – The Association for Intelligent Information Management (AIIM) and the National Association of Government Archives and Records Administrators (NAGARA) today announced a strategic affiliate partnership designed to strengthen the information and records management profession and provide enhanced value to their respective memberships.
The collaboration establishes a framework for ongoing cooperation between the two leading professional organizations, creating new opportunities for knowledge sharing, professional development, and industry advancement.
The partnership delivers significant value to members of both organizations through discounted AIIM membership rates for NAGARA members and reciprocal discounts on annual conference registrations. Cross-promotional opportunities for events and educational programs will expand professional development access across both communities.
Professional development benefits include AIIM providing Certified Information Professional (CIP) continuing education units (CEUs) for applicable NAGARA events, enhanced networking opportunities through joint event participation, and valuable knowledge sharing between public and private sector information management professionals.
