AIIM Announces Staff Promotions and a New Professional Credential 

Silver Spring, MD – The Association for Intelligent Information Management (AIIM) today announced the promotion of two staff members and a professional certification earned by a third, marking a stretch of growth and recognition across the organization's small but versatile team.

Shelly Strickland has been promoted to Director of Marketing, and Sasha Sicard has been promoted to Senior Manager of Education. Amy Michalski, AIIM's Chief Business Development Officer, has earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from ASAE.

Shelly Strickland Promoted to Director of Marketing

Shelly Strickland, CIP has been promoted to Director of Marketing in recognition of her years of service and the expanded scope of her role. Strickland joined AIIM in January 2022 and brings 25 years of marketing experience to the position. She has been instrumental in improving AIIM's digital experience and marketing assets, and in shaping the association's overall marketing strategy and branding.

Strickland is a recipient of the ASAE ReadyMe scholarship and a member of both Professionals for Association Revenue (PAR) and ASAE.

Sasha Sicard Promoted to Senior Manager of Education

Sasha Sicard has been promoted to Senior Manager of Education. Since joining AIIM in December 2023, Sicard has developed the association's current education strategy and expanded its online learning portfolio, creating new learning pathways and courses for AIIM+ Pro and introducing AIIM's popular Demo Days and Insight series.

Sicard is a member of Professionals for Association Revenue (PAR) and ASAE.

Amy Michalski Earns Certified Association Executive Credential

Amy Michalski, CAE, CIP, AIIM's Chief Business Development Officer, has earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential. The CAE is the premier professional credential for association and nonprofit management, administered by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). It recognizes the knowledge, skills, and commitment required to lead professional societies, trade associations, and other nonprofit organizations.

Michalski serves on the Professionals for Association Revenue (PAR) Advisory Board.
