About the Role of Director At-Large
Board members are entrusted with advancing the organization’s mission and serving the needs and interests of members. As the association's primary stewards, the AIIM Board of Directors embraces its duty of foresight to guide the information management community into the future. As a board member, you will provide the strategic direction of the organization and are entrusted with serving the needs and interests of all members. Meet our current board members.
As a board member, you will spend approximately a 30-40 hours per year preparing for meetings, collaborating with other board members and staff, and participating in board meetings. The board meets at least four times per year. Board members occasionally work together between meetings to advance key projects and initiatives. As a board member, you will be asked to:

Nominations are reviewed by a nominating committee appointed by the current Board of Directors. A slate of nominees are then presented to membership and a vote is held. You will be notified if you are included in the slate of nominees and elected.
