AIIM Launches New Regional Events Program to Bring World-Class Information Management Education Directly to Local Communities

Interactive forums and exchanges address real-world AI and information management challenges across North America and Europe

Silver Spring, Maryland, USA –  July 8, 2025 – The Association for Intelligent Information Management (AIIM) today announced the launch of its new Regional Events program, designed to deliver high-impact, in-person learning opportunities directly to information management practitioners in their local markets.

The program features two distinct event formats: full-day AI+IM Regional Forums for collaborative problem-solving and shorter AI+IM Regional Exchanges for intimate peer-to-peer discussions.

"I'm excited to personally invite our community to AIIM's new Regional Events program, part of our commitment to improve accessibility to AIIM's world-class education and foster community among our members," said Tori Miller Liu, CIP, AIIM President & CEO. "We're bringing high-impact, in-person learning opportunities directly to cities across North America, Europe, and beyond.”

The Regional Events program addresses the growing need for practical, implementable solutions as organizations navigate the intersection of AI and information management. With 77% of enterprises now experimenting with AI implementation, the program provides structured environments for practitioners to share challenges, explore solutions, and build lasting professional networks.

Two Formats Designed for Different Learning Needs

AI+IM Regional Forums are intensive, full-day events bringing together 75-100 information management practitioners for collaborative problem-solving. These events feature structured challenge exchanges, innovation showcases from solution partners, and expert-led panels addressing regulatory and strategic considerations.

AI+IM Regional Exchanges are shorter, more intimate gatherings of 30-50 participants focused on peer-to-peer networking and knowledge sharing. These events emphasize real-world case studies and interactive discussions around information management maturity in the AI era.
