AIIM to hold inaugural Solutions Showcase & Strategy Summit with AIIM Florida Chapter

Silver Spring, Maryland – The Association for Intelligent Information Management (AIIM) and the AIIM Florida Chapter announced the first AIIM Solutions Showcase & Strategy Summit will be held October 3-4, 2023, at the Centre Club in Tampa, Florida.

“We are excited to create this new event concept in collaboration with the AIIM Florida Chapter,” said AIIM President and CEO Tori Miller Liu. “The Solutions Showcase & Strategy Summit highlights a vibrant, local industry and creates greater accessibility for members and prospective members to contribute to the future of AIIM and the industry.” AIIM envisions bringing this type of event to other areas within North America in the future.

“We are proud to co-host the first Solutions Showcase & Strategy Summit,” said AIIM Florida Chapter Chairman Craig Laue. “We are providing a forum for regional networking as well as featuring the top information management solutions providers here in the Southeastern tech hub, which includes Raliegh, Atlanta, and Tampa.”

The hallmark of the event is a Solutions Showcase, which will promote local businesses by featuring sponsors from around the region. The event will kick off with a welcome reception the evening of October 3, which will give participants a chance to browse sponsor solutions and network.

On October 4, author, engineer, and digital transformation expert Chris Surdak will provide a keynote presentation where he will review the potential strengths and weaknesses of new artificial intelligence platforms and provide five key principles for effectively embracing our cybernetic future.

Solutions providers will provide educational sessions, which will feature end-to-end, real-world case studies and solutions that solve digital process challenges. Then, participants can enjoy lunch and prize drawings in the Showcase.

In the afternoon, participants will get a chance to experience AIIM’s first Strategy Summit. In this unique experiment, participants will collaborate with AIIM’s Board of Directors, solutions providers, and AIIM staff to learn about AIIM’s strategic approach to addressing the industry’s plausible futures. Participants will be able to share their ideas and contribute to AIIM’s strategic direction. The Strategy Summit will be facilitated by Jeff De Cagna, FRSA FASAE, executive advisor for Foresight First LLC and a popular keynote speaker from the 2023 AIIM Conference in New Orleans. The event concludes with an evening reception.

The event is designed for forward-thinking information management leaders who want to support local markets, conduct hands-on evaluation of multiple end-to-end solutions addressing digital process challenges, and collaboratively ideate and identify a new course for AIIM International alongside the AIIM Leadership Council.
