Speakers
James Crifasi
James Crifasi is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer for RedZone Technologies. With over 20 years of experience as a technology-centric executive, James has excelled at building high-performing teams to overhaul business and technology operations and create cost-effective secure environments for clients. He has proven leadership in running infrastructure, security, enterprise applications, and eBusiness teams. In his role, James is responsible for all aspects of technology, client delivery, sales, legal, and operations. James is also a Board Member of the Maryland Technology Council.
Reggie Henry, CAE
Reggie Henry joined ASAE in November of 1994. His responsibilities are to implement “exemplary” systems at ASAE that can serve as a model to the rest of the association community and to “ratchet-up” the use and understanding of technology among ASAE members. He has been working with and/or for non-profit organizations since 1985.
Mr. Henry speaks regularly on technology and strategy issues. Some of his most recent speaking engagements include the NABE CE Retreat: Welcome & Plenary Session – The Future of the Membership Association Post-Pandemic, 2021 Exhibition and Conventions Executive Forum, 2021 High Road Solutions Spring Virtual Conference, 2021 ASAE Annual Meeting, 2020 Arizona Chamber Executives Virtual Conference, 2020 ASAE Technology Conference, 2019 Empire State Leadership Conference, 2019 Digital Now Conference. In 2009 he was invited by the Secretary of Smithsonian to participate in Smithsonian 2.0, a Gathering to Re-Imagine the Smithsonian in the Digital Age. Reggie was recently named one of the top 40 CIOs in DC-MD-VA area.
Mr. Henry holds a B.S. in Economics and Computer Science from Georgetown University. Mr. Henry regularly serves on association Boards, most recently Educause and the National Association of Colleges and Employers
Karen Hobert
Karen is responsible for the Future of Work Thought Leadership & Research at Webex by Cisco. She is a seasoned thought leader, collaboration technologist, industry analyst, and pioneer who can get ahead of trends, lead research, and tell stories about the future of work. Her background has been in working as a collaboration technology expert, going on to develop a consulting practice focused on shared information and process application development, programming, and technical education. She expanded her career into IT Market Research Analysis at Burton Group, subsequently joining Gartner, to advance the Content Services and Content Collaboration practices for IT Leaders. Hobert has researched and defined IT markets, writing numerous reports and articles about them. She has delivered keynote addresses for technology vendors and industry organizations. Her extensive experience spans most industries including Finance, Healthcare, High-tech, Manufacturing, Higher Education, Energy, Non-profit, and Federal Government. She has worked for the US Department of Defense, the Deputy Secretary of the Navy, and Fleet Commanders. Hobert participated in delivering technologies to support emergency response and aid in the first days after 9/11. She is a board member of AIIM, an association to advance Intelligent Information Management and certification. Passionate about breaking through the noise in the market to solve problems and add value, Hobert helps business leaders, investors, and technology change-makers strategize for the future of work.
Jay Leask
Jay is a Principal Technical Architect at the Washington DC Microsoft Innovation Hub specializing in Modern Work. Jay facilitates discussions on modern IT practices, using 20 years of IT experience to engage customers in solutions design with a focus on increased the value and decreased risk within collaboration investments. His focus over the last 15 years has been on public sector organizations including state, local, and Federal government, as well as education institutions. Tori Miller Liu, CIP
Tori Miller Liu, MBA, FASAE, CAE, CIP is the President & CEO of the Association for Intelligent Information Management, the world's leading association dedicated to the information management industry. She is an experienced association executive, technology leader, speaker, and facilitator. Previously, she served as the Chief Information Officer of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. A longtime contributor and volunteer in the association community, Tori is a current member of the ASAE Executive Management Advisory Council and a co-founder and past Board Member of the Association Women Technology Champions. She was named a 2020 Association Trends Young & Aspiring Professional and 2021 Association Forum Forty under 40 award recipient. She is also an alumna of the ASAE NextGen program. She is a Certified Association Executive (CAE), Certified Information Professional (CIP), and holds an MBA from George Washington University. Tori was honored to be named an ASAE Fellow (FASAE) in 2023.
Candace McCabe, CIP, CIPM, AIIM Fellow, Success Coach
Candace began her love affair with all things data and information in one of her earliest roles in her career. As a project manager responsible to her customer in a software development company, she quickly learned to understand her customer’s data needs and communicate those clearly to her software development partners. After serving as the Sr. Information Architect at JB Hunt Transport and leading their enterprise modeling effort, she moved into Enterprise Architecture with a minor role in Information Lifecycle Management. She championed the creation of an Information Governance Program that included Information Lifecycle Management, Records Management, eDiscovery, Legal Hold Management, and the supporting technologies for those efforts and she became the creator and owner of the program. As an extension of her IG work, Candace expanded her efforts to promote, create, and manage JB Hunt’s first Information Privacy program. In that effort, she also included her knowledge and network in IM/ IG. Candace joined Walmart in late 2019 and began working in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance area, supporting Disaster Recovery as a Sr. Solution Architect. She continued applying her IM/ IG knowledge, which has expanded into an information risk management practice, and applying IM/ IG to her current role in Enterprise Architecture. She is currently working to apply IG principles and serving as the primary information architect in an effort to develop accurate and actionable views of the dependencies between technical assets. Candace has always been a proponent for improving the lives and careers of women in information and technology careers. She served as a member of the WIIM leadership council, mentored multiple women in AIIM, started the Women In IT resource group at JBH, and founded a book club and a wellness mentoring circle through Walmart’s Women in InfoSec resource group. She continues to mentor and lead in areas related to women in information and technology careers. As an AIIM Fellow, Candace is working to champion diversity, specifically for women, within AIIM. Candace was also one of the authors of the best-selling risk management book, Flip This Risk For Enterprise Security, which was featured at AIIM 2022 during the keynote session featuring Dr. Karen Hardy, the coordinating author.

Mark Patrick, CIP
Mark Patrick, CIP, is the Records Officer for the US Department of Defense. He is a retired US Navy helicopter pilot who has served in the federal civil service for over 16 years. He has worked in information and records management for over 18 years and served on the Joint Staff from 2007-2023 prior to assuming his current role. Mark served six years on the AIIM board of directors, as the 2018 board chairman, and in 2019 as Immediate Past Chair. He is an AIIM Certified Information Professional (CIP) and holds NARA’s Agency Records Officer Certificate (AROC), a requirement for all US government Agency Records Officers. He was inducted into AIIM’s Company of Fellows in 2020 in Dallas, as Fellow #225. He holds a BA from the University of Virginia and an MA from Tufts University.

Attendance Criteria
Leadership Council Members: Current members are invited to register up to two executives to attend the symposium.
Solution Providers: Non-Leadership Council solution providers can apply to attend for a fee of $500.
End User Organizations: Approved applicants from end user organizations can attend free of charge.
Limited to a select group of participants, IDLS provides an intimate setting for meaningful conversations and connections. Attendees will leave with practical strategies to drive innovation, improve decision-making, and create operational efficiencies.
