The AIIM Conference in New Orleans Provides Concrete Strategies for Navigating the Future of Information Management

New Orleans, LA – The AIIM Conference, a premier event for the information management industry, is set to take place from April 25-27, 2023, in New Orleans. Hosted by the Association for Intelligent Information Management (AIIM International), the conference will bring together industry partners and professionals from around the world to discuss the latest trends, technologies, and strategies in information management.

“Our industry is at a crossroads due to artificial intelligence (AI), hybrid work, and the increasing variety, velocity, and volume of information,” said AIIM President and CEO Tori Miller Liu. “Changing times mean an event much different from prior years with diverse participants and speakers, new educational formats, and content focused on providing participants with concrete strategies for navigating in this new era.”

In over fifty educational sessions, subject matter experts will cover a range of current, critical topics like artificial intelligence, algorithmic bias, change management, data analysis, information management strategy, Microsoft 365, process automation, records management, system design and implementation, and workplace effectiveness.

Attendees will be the first to hear an open dialogue about results from the AIIM 2023 State of the Intelligent Information Management Industry Survey. The conference opens with an expert panel exploring the latest trends identified in the research and debating what they mean for the future of the information management industry.

In the first keynote session, foresight expert and strategist Jeff De Cagna with Foresight First LLC will share six habits of mind participants can adopt to navigate the growing uncertainty, volatility, and risk of an irrevocably altered world.

The final keynote session will explore the emerging technologies and trends in the age of AI and predict what’s next. Participants will hear strategies for information management professionals to flourish in this new AI era from a panel of experts, including top industry analysts, consultants, and executives from IBM Business Automation Software and Microsoft.

Diversity is critical to the longevity and growth of the information management industry. Thirty-seven percent of this year’s speakers are women. In addition, AIIM is hosting three student delegations from local universities – Dillard University, Louisiana State University, and Tulane University.

Other event highlights include a panel of c-suite executives providing their perspectives on information management; Fail Fest, which celebrates failure as a key part of innovation in a lively story jam-style event; and a packed Solutions Showcase featuring conference sponsors, demonstrating their latest technology solutions and newly released products.

The AIIM Conference is designed for leaders and practitioners concerned with the creation, capture, storage, and dissemination of information – the data and content that drives operational excellence.

Registration for the AIIM Conference is now open. Discounted room rates at the Hyatt Regency
