Infonomics: How do you measure the value of information

How do you measure the value of information?

“Infonomics” is one label that has been applied to the discipline of measuring the value of information assets. In June 2016, AIIM brought together 86 leaders in information management from North America and Europe to discuss the following two key questions:

  1. If “information” is the currency of the Digital Age, why don’t organizations manage their information assets with the same seriousness as their financial assets, their physical assets, and their human assets?
  2. Why is “Infonomics” such a difficult concept for organizations to grasp?
