Introduction:

AIIM has collaborated with Leadership Through Data (LTD) for Enhanced Microsoft 365 Training. This course is instructor-led with hands-on experience.

Modernize Your Records Management with Microsoft 365 Purview

Join our intensive, four-day hands-on workshop to master Microsoft 365 Purview Records Management. Across four deep-dive modules, you’ll build the skills to design, implement, and govern a compliant retention and information-governance strategy within your M365 environment:

  • Module 1: Foundations & Information Architecture
Understand how M365’s collaboration architecture, metadata, and content types underpin a modern records management framework. Learn best practices for structuring SharePoint, Teams, and Viva Engage to support consistent information capture.

  • Module 2: Purview Records Management Essentials
Explore Purview’s core RM features—retention labels, policies, file plans, and scopes. You’ll configure static and adaptive retention, declare records, and trigger dispositions based on events or metadata.

  • Module 3: Automation & Compliance Controls
Automate label application, manage disposition workflows, and troubleshoot licensing requirements. Compare retention labels vs. policies, and learn strategies to handle M365 limitations and ensure compliance at scale.

  • Module 4: Advanced Governance & Reporting
Dive into eDiscovery, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), audit logs, and dashboard reporting. You’ll plan for change, assess your M365 deployment against RM standards, and collaborate effectively with IT to drive user adoption.
