In recent years, content management for organizations has changed drastically. Gartner put this fitting capstone on the advancements:
“ECM is now dead (kaput, finite, an ex-market name), at least in how Gartner defines the market. It’s been replaced by the term Content Services.”
So, is "Content Services" really all there is? Is enterprise content management (ECM) really dead? The term might be straining a bit, but the idea isn’t. We think the conversation is a bit more complicated (and to be fair, so does Gartner).
