René Rebe

René Rebe serves as a Board Member of the TWAIN Working Group and is the CEO of ExactCODE GmbH. He studied Computer Science and Media Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. As the founder of ExactCODE GmbH, Rebe has developed several key products including t2 Linux, ExactScan, OCRKit, and PDF Recompress. An open source contributor since 1998, Rebe helped establish much of the early groundwork in the field. He created his own Linux distribution called T2 SDE. His technical expertise ranges from Assembly to C++, including work across non-x86 architectures such as RISC-V, ARM, PowerPC, SPARC, MIPS, Alpha, IA64, SuperH, Blackfin, and AVR32.
