Paul Carman

Paul Carman is a veteran of the information management industry with nearly five decades of experience. He began his career in sales with Eastman Kodak and went on to hold senior sales and marketing roles across the sector, working with organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to early-stage startups. He served on the AIIM Board of Directors, including as chair of the association, and was President and CEO of the International Information Management Congress (IMC), which served members across Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific region. He helped facilitate the merger of IMC into AIIM in 2000. Today, Paul leads Xamcor, where he focuses on mergers and acquisitions in the information management space, and serves as an adjunct professor teaching MBA marketing at Sage College. He has been a Fellow of AIIM since 1996 and received AIIM's Award of Merit in 2026.
